Elmo Brewing Company, (512) Brewing Company, and Vacancy Brewing are within walking distance. In South Austin, you’ll find proximity between Meanwhile Brewing, Independence Brewing Co, and Pinthouse. In the Hill Country, Jester King Brewery, Beerburg Brewing, and Last Stand Brewing Company are all on Fitzhugh Road and very close to each other. In the brew-borhood of North Austin, you’ll find five breweries in a two-mile radius. You can easily hop to a few breweries to try out their beers. You can join a brewery tour company for your beer shindig, but to be entirely in control of where we go, when we go, etc., and make it as affordable as possible, I suggest renting a bus or finding a designated driver. Zilker Brewing Company – I’m consistently impressed with the number of beers they release.Austin Beer Garden Brewing (AGBG) – They won best brewpub three years in a row at the Great American Beer Festival along with multiple awards for their beers.Meanwhile Brewing – Hill Country vibes in the city and has the best selection of food trucks.Pinthouse – If you love IPAs and pizza.Austin Beerworks – Known for its artistic cans and fun beers.Jester King Brewery – Known for its beautiful acres of land and its farmhouse and barrel-aged ales.Ok, now you’re thinking, 62 breweries?!
